ABOUT RANGERS
CLUB
The Australian Anglo Indian Melbourne Rangers Club was founded in 1980 by a number of Anglo Indian couples from Calcutta. Taking its name from the Calcutta Rangers Club, the Melbourne Rangers Club followed much of the traditions and social programmes of the original club. Over a period of time, the club has embraced members from both, within and outside the Anglo Indian community, making it a rich, multi-cultural body.
The club has grown in strength since its conception.
Our Aim
The aim of the club is to promote activities bringing members together, be it social or fund-raising.
Our Mission
The club's mission statement is "to foster a spirit of unity & friendship in a relaxed environment; offer a range of social, cultural & sporting events & contribute to various charitable organisations within the community".
